Bingham Through Time

This is a Long Acre Arts run event

This is a two day event featuring a number of different exhibitions.

Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May, 10am-4pm

A display of photographs from the 1960’s to recent times, taken by Ted Rayson in Bingham and the surrounding area.

Bingham Heritage is putting together an exhibition of Bingham through the ages as far back as Roman times, through the Victorian era and during the war period. There is a section on 10 things you may not know about Bingham and will also include information about the Bingham Heritage association and the work it has been doing over the years.

Jan Parnham, founder of the Long Acre Arts charitable trust, is giving us an opportunity to see some of the work she and her late husband were involved in when they were running their marketing and advertising business from the building. It will include old camera equipment; leaflets; advertising posters; photos etc.

It is hoped there will also be a display of a range of local artists paintings of different views around Bingham.

Free Entry - There will be refreshments of tea, coffee and homemade cakes to purchase.
